• Solicitor License

All people applying for a Solicitor License must complete and return the city’s application no fewer than 10 days before wishing to start soliciting.  An investigation of information will be performed by the chief of police before a license is issued.
Minors under the age of 18 are exempt from these requirements unless acting as agents for adults.

**If a solicitor comes to your door ask them to present their license and identification badge.  If they are unable to do so do not purchase anything and call the police department.

• Occupation Tax

Tax due - $300.00
Paid by Liquor stores each year at their state license renewal date.

• Private Clubs License

Class A License fee - $100.00
Class A License sell and serve alcohol on the premises to members, their families and guests.

Class B License fee - $100.00
Class B License sell and serve alcohol on the premises to members, their families and guests and also is a restaurant.

*Renewal by May 1st each year.- Bonds are required.

• Electric License

-Fee (renewable per policy period of bond) - $ 25.00
-Must pass electric code test
    

• Plumbing License

-Fee (renewable per policy period of bond) - $ 25.00
-Must pass plumbing code test

• Gas Fitting License

-Fee (renewable per policy period of bond) - $ 25.00
-Must pass gas fitting code test
    
All the above must supply a copy of a surety bond of $500.00

• Tree Trimming License

-Fee (renewable per policy period of insurance) - $ 25.00
-must supply copy of liability insurance of
$25,000-bodily injury and $10,000-property damage.

• Pawn Broker & Precious Metal Dealers

    -fee  $ 25.00
    -provide reports required by Kansas Statues to the Chief of Police.
