The City of Oakley is accepting applications for the following positions:
SWIMMING POOL MANAGER – This position is seasonal work with assignments in all areas of pool operations, including administration, staff scheduling, completing incident and cash reports, filtration operations, liaison between City and pool staff, scheduling lessons, custodial work, cleaning the bathhouse/pool and deck/grounds, maintaining equipment and completing additional duties as assigned by the City. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a current CPR and First Aid certificates. Prefer Head Lifeguard or related experience. Pre-employment drug testing is required.
LIFEGUARDS – These employees are required to have or obtain a lifeguard certification and be current with CPR training. Successful applicants will serve as lifeguards and will be involved in the teaching of swimming lessons. Cleaning of the pool and of the pool facility will be required. Pre-employment drug testing is required.
OFFICE STAFF – Successful applicants will work in the office and will be responsible for the sale of admissions to the pool and the sale of concessions. Cleaning of the pool and of the pool facility will be required. Minimum age requirement is 14. Pre-employment drug testing is required.
