The Buffalo Bill sculpture just west of 2nd St. and US-83 is one of the Eight Wonders of Kansas Art. The twice life-size bronze sculpture commemorates the 1868 contest between William F. Cody and William Comstock where the winner became “Buffalo Bill”. The site also has full color storyboards, a picnic table, and a cabin with gift shop.
