Office Clerk
The City of Oakley, KS is accepting applications for an Office Clerk. This is a full time position with a great benefit package, valued at over $25,000, which includes: KPERS retirement, paid full family insurance, dental, sick leave, holiday pay, vacation. Under supervision from the City Clerk, the Office Clerk’s duties will include but are not limited to: processing invoices, data entry, answering phones, greeting visitors, issuing purchase orders and assisting with accounts payable, payroll and utility billing.Full-Time

Water/Wastewater Operator/Floater
The City of Oakley is accepting applications for Water/Wastewater Operator/Floater. This is a full time position with a great benefit package, valued at over $25,000, which includes: KPERS retirement, paid full family insurance, dental, sick leave, holiday pay, and vacation. This position primarily has duties in Water and Wastewater Department. Duties will include repair and maintenance of water lines, well houses, and lift stations, reading meters and assisting other departments as needed. Successful applicant will be required to operate loader, backhoe, skid steer, mowers and other departmental equipment.

SALARY:
Starting salary is $14.25/hr, salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a United States Citizen, 18 years old by the time of hire, High School diploma or GED required. Experience is preferred but not required.

Police Officer, Oakley Police Department
The City of Oakley, KS is accepting applications for Police Officer. This is a full time position with a great benefit package, valued at over $25,000, which includes: KPERS retirement, paid full family insurance, dental, sick leave, holiday pay, vacation, and all equipment supplied with the exception of boots.
TYPE: Full Time
SALARY:
Non certified starting salary is $17.45/hr. with increase upon KLETC certification.
Kansas Certified will receive a $5,000 bonus 90 days after employment start date upon signing a 2 year contract.
Kansas Certified salary is negotiable depending on qualifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a United States Citizen, 21 years old by the time of hire, High School diploma or GED, satisfy all requirements as set forth in K.S.A. 74-5605, have or be able to obtain a valid Kansas driver's license, must pass an extensive background check, interview board, psychological test, and drug screen. Must not have been charged or convicted of domestic violence, no felony convictions(s), including any felony conviction(s) that have been expunged. Kansas Certification is preferred.
